Recipes Using Abe's Asian

Abe's Asian salad dressing is delicious in salads, as a marinade, for party dips, sandwich spreads, sauces -- the options are nearly endless! Here are a few of our favorite recipes we use in our catering business.

[Abe's Asian Salad]Abe’s Asian Salad

In a large bowl, mix together desired amounts of:

Spring mixed greens

Red pepper

Yellow pepper

Red onion

Mandarin oranges

Toasted almonds

Black and white sesame seeds

Add cooked chicken, steak, shrimp or salmon to make it a meal. Top with Abe’s Asian dressing and enjoy!

Asian Slaw

1 head Napa cabbage, shredded

1 red pepper, julienned (thin strips)

1 bunch cilantro, chopped

½ golden pineapple, small dice (cubes)

½ red onion, small dice

12 oz. Abe’s Asian dressing

Wash and rinse cabbage in cold water. Shred cabbage into thin strips, place into a bowl, add remaining ingredients mix well and serve immediately.

In a large bowl, toss together desired amounts of:

Chopped Romaine Lettuce

Chopped Iceberg Lettuce

Chopped Tomato

Chopped Cucumber

Chopped Watercress

Chopped Red Onion

Crunchy Won Tons

Top with Abe’s Asian dressing and enjoy!

Asian Chicken Salad

2 pounds cooked diced chicken breast

½ cup roasted cashews chopped

1 cup dried currants

2 tablespoons fresh ginger grated

¼ cup cilantro chopped

¾ cups Abe’s Asian dressing

In a large bowl add all ingredients mix well. Serve on your favorite bread or on a bed of mixed greens.
