About Us

Abe’s Asian was born from the creative mind of Bekim Pellumbi in early 2002.  Bekim and his partner, Joseph Hessling, are the proprietors of a popular Detroit area catering company. After their customers kept asking about the dressing used in their favorite salads and sandwiches, Bekim and Joe decided to bottle it and make it available to their customers.

After a short time, the dressing fell into the hands of Fabrizio Casini, head produce buyer for Hiller’s Markets. With the help from Fabrizio and also Holiday Market in Royal Oak, Abe's Asian salad dressing has gone mainstream and is now available to folks all over southeastern Michigan, and can be shipped by the case anywhere in the U.S.

With its smooth consistency and attractive color, not to mention its addictive flavor, Abe's Asian was destined to be a success!
